154 HART Calibration Assistant Designed for use with the full range of HART sensors, Fluke's new Android-based tablet is configured with a mobile app that allows technicians to communicate with transmitters from up to 250 feet away. HART is a widely used communications standard for providing data access between host systems and machine transmitters, including temperature, pressure and flow sensors, that can be used in plastics factories.

What's new? The device, which has been on the market a few months.

Benefits Mobility. Using the calibration assistant, technicians can set machine parameters, monitor variables and change settings from a convenient, centralized location. This speeds configuration and calibration of the transmitters used to actually capture data. For even greater usability, Fluke will provide free quarterly updates for three years from the first use of the product.
