Atek Access Technologies' newest Internet of Things platform allows users to monitor aspects of equipment operation via the cloud.

AssetScan Atek Access Technologies' newest Internet of Things platform allows users to monitor aspects of equipment operation via the cloud. The system's displays, software, hardware and built-in data analytics can be used to monitor parameters such as temperature and humidity, pressure, vibration and fluid flow. They can connect nearly any industrial machine or system to the Internet, and can be especially useful in monitoring day-to-day data from assets, such as bulk silos, that don't require constant, real-time data tracking. Other plastics-related applications include tracking the temperature of process water. The platform can be used by machinery owners, as well as by maintenance service providers interested in monitoring the functionality of a machine or system.

What's new? The platform, released a few months ago.

Benefits Access to untapped data. AssetScan allows operators to track variables and remotely monitor conditions within their plants. Using this information, operators can gain insight into maintenance needs and avoid unscheduled downtime.
