Electro Static Technology's new digital oscilloscope is specially designed to take accurate measurements from the spinning shafts of motors.

Aegis Shaft Voltage Tester Electro Static Technology's new digital oscilloscope is specially designed to take accurate measurements from the spinning shafts of motors. The device is useful for checking the mechanical health of extruders and large-tonnage injection molding machines that use variable-frequency drives to control the speed of their AC-induction motors. Harmful voltages can cause bearing damage, leading to expensive repairs and unscheduled downtime.

What's new? The line of oscilloscopes, which hit the market a few months ago.

Benefits Ease of use, and avoidance of breakdowns. Equipped with a special conductive microfiber-tipped probe, the oscilloscope makes good shaft contact. The probe holder has a magnetic base, and the device comes with its own compact carrying case.
