What's new? The combination of the underwater pelletizer with a water-process treatment system and pellet dryer, made possible by Maag's recent acquisitions of Gala Industries and Reduction Engineering Scheer. Within the past few months, Maag has also updated the pelletizer's die plate design and heat flux features.
Benefits Ease of use. With blades that can be adjusted with a hand wheel, the pelletizer's design allows operators to visually monitor knife wear. The all-in-one system, which Maag showed at Chinaplas last month in Shanghai, represents a convenient option for manufacturers.
