Tecnofer AG wash line Tecnofer's wash line is designed to separate contaminants such as soil and sand from post-consumer agricultural film. The heavy-duty system cleans in three stages: It uses a slow-moving shredder and prewash tank to remove heavy contaminants; a wet grinder for final washing; and a screw press and hot-air system to reduce moisture to a level of less than 1 percent.

What's new? Numerous upgrades. Tecnofer has made improvements to meet the needs of U.S. recyclers. In addition to a recently upgraded horizontal centrifuge, the LO 30, and new screw press, the CP 450 AF, they include an upgraded shredder, stronger blades and a more powerful motor. Benefits Removal of tricky contaminants, including fines as thin as 20 microns, and efficient power and water usage. Using the system, recyclers can reclaim quality material. The upgrades allow the system to handle 3,000 pounds an hour — up from 2,000 pounds an hour — and have eliminated the need for a second centrifuge.
