IRBT 2005 ABB Robotics is offering a new motion platform for medium-sized robots. Compact and modular, the platform has an internal cable chain that can be pre-equipped with cables suitable for different power and signal cables. Various sizes of robot pedestals are available.

Benefits Speed, accuracy and flexibility. ABB says the platform can reduce cycle times by as much as 50 percent while providing optimal path accuracy through use of the QuickMove and TrueMove features embedded in the company's RobotWare controller software. IRBT 2005 is suitable for a variety of applications, including machine tending and materials handling. Also, the platform is easy to maintain and repair.
