Type X purge system control panels Ross Systems now offers control panels with a fully automatic, Type X purge system that removes hazardous vapors during use. The option, which is designed for environments that require explosion-prevention systems, can be used with all mixers from Ross' parent company, Charles Ross & Son Co., Hauppauge, N.Y., and is also compatible with auxiliary equipment made by other manufacturers. The system forces clean air through the enclosed control panel until all dangerous gases are removed.

What's new? Expanded availability of the Type X purge system as an option on the control panels.

Benefits Ease of use. Use of the purge system provides more flexibility for control panels designed for hazardous environments. This allows the integration of larger touch screens, which are easier to use. NEMA 4X operator stations featuring 15-inch touch screens are shown.
