OMG4430 Omegasonics' new timer-controlled, ultrasonic cleaning unit has a peak ultrasonic power of 8,000 watts, and can be used for multiple applications. It works well with fused-deposition modeling printers, which use water-soluble polymer resins to build support structures in the manufacturing of plastic parts. The bath can remove the support structures, or clean contaminants from injection molds. The unit's bath measures 40 inches by 30 inches by 30 inches. The machine is made from solid-state components. Features include a built-in digital heater; large-capacity, dual-cartridge filtration system; overflow weir; and insulated tank.
