Laser scanning device features sharp focus
scanCONTROL 29xx-10/BL Micro-Epsilon's newest laser scanner measures even the smallest components, making it ideal for use in the production of precision parts. Equipped with a blue-laser diode, it can be used to inspect semi-transparent plastics. The system's electronics are housed in the sensor's compact body, where all the signal processing takes place.
What's new? The device, which has been available for only a few weeks.
Benefits High precision and resolution. The scanner has a very fine focusing capacity. It projects a 10mm-wide laser line and has a point distance of 7.8 microns. This enables the scanner to provide twice the resolution of previous laser scanners with a 25mm measuring range. The device requires no external controller.
