N-series Promix Solutions has introduced a line of nitrogen gas-dosing systems for foam extrusion applications. Offering standard mass flow rates of 5 to 2,000 grams per hour, the N-series interfaces with the extruder for safe operation and synchronizes the flow to the extruder output. Two pressure versions are available: The standard N400mc unit handles pressures up to 6,000 pounds per square inch (psi), while the N700mc version for high-pressure applications handles pressures up to 10,000 psi. Users can set limits for process control. A variety of interface options, including Powerlink and Modbus RTU, are available.What's new? Availability in the U.S. The units were introduced in October at Fakuma in Germany.
