NM-38 Nerpco USA has added a laboratory-size model to its NM series of high-intensity mixers for the plastics and rubber industries. The NM-38 is designed for small batches of up to 1 pound and features a hydraulic drive that allows for variable, bidirectional rotor speeds. The mixer features a chrome-plated body, hinged side discharge, chrome-plated dust stops and stainless steel hopper. The unit comes with either standard electric relay controls or a PLC. It also features anti-friction, spherical roller bearings. What's new? The size. Nerpco's mixer line now encompasses models handling batches from 1 to 285 pounds.
