Elektron A control system formerly available only with higher-end presses is now available with Milacron's all-electric Elektron injection molding machines. Elektrons equipped with the upgraded control system are known by the name Elektron Evolution, or EVO.
What's new? The upgraded control, which Milacron demonstrated at Fakuma. The upgrade gives Elektron users the choice of two controllers — the Endura Touch Control, which had been standard, or the Mosaic, a higher-performance Ferromatik Series control system. The company is concentrating its Mosaic marketing efforts in Europe, but the system is available with Elektron Evolutions purchased in the United States. The Mosaic control can also be added to machines as a retrofit.
