Mocon's newest device for measuring oxygen transmission rates has been designed to work well with a wide range of high-barrier materials and packages.

Ox-Tran model 2/22 L Mocon's newest device for measuring oxygen transmission rates has been designed to work well with a wide range of high-barrier materials and packages. It is suited for a number of applications, including film conversion for the pharmaceutical and food packaging industries.

What's new? Greater sensitivity and repeatability, compared to previous models in the Ox-Tran series.

Benefits High performance and lower maintenance costs. Compared to a previous model, the 2/22 L's repeatability specification has more than doubled. Engineered to provide 10 times more sensitivity than a predecessor, the model can accurately gauge permeation rates as low as 0.005 cubic centimeters in a square meter over the course of a day. With the device's Auto Test feature, operators can test a film without having to know the profile of the film; the device can also conduct a series of tests automatically. In addition, new safety and maintenance features have been added to make the oxygen sensor more durable and lower the cost of ownership.
