Rem3D Version 5.0 The result of more than 10 years of R&D with a French academic institute, Transvalor's Rem3D software simulates conditions for injection molding. With the software, users have access to information to make better decisions about numerous factors, such as venting, PU foam molding , fiber orientation, gate location and temperature control. The software can perform simulations of a number of processes, including gas-assisted injection molding, co-injection and overmolding, for both thermoplastics and thermosets.

What's new? The simulation software, which was released in October. Based on previous versions designed for specific Transvalor customers, the new software is now commercially available without restrictions.

Benefits Process optimization, including reduced time for mold design and production cycles. The software can help users determine the best position for injectors, gates and heating cartridges; calculate optimum packing time to reduce or prevent shrinkage and warpage; and predict the best balance of foam molding.
