WA 100 Reduction Engineering Scheer has upgraded the blower motor of its WA 100 dewatering device, which is used with a strand pelletizer to treat the strands after they have been removed from a cooling bath. A combination of air suction and blowing removes the moisture from the strands.

What's new? The combination of the blower motor with a frequency inverter, which was displayed for the first time in October at Fakuma.

Benefits The ability to adjust the performance of the blower to the kind of material being processed, the throughput and number of strands.
