Press type S Made by Dr. Collin GmbH, Ebersberg, Germany, the parent company of Collin Lab & Pilot Solutions, this servoregulator machine can be used to press any polymer for mechanical, physical, chemical or optical testing at temperatures of up to 842 degrees Fahrenheit. It can also be used for simple molding. For customers in the medical technologies fields, Dr. Collin can design machines according to clean-room specifications.

What's new? The press, which was presented for the first time at Fakuma. Compared to other Dr. Collin presses, the type S has a new hydraulic system, with a servomotor and a double gear pump, and vertically movable, ergonomic door.

Benefits Accuracy and water- and power-efficiency. The machine's servoregulator inhibits the machine's motor from running unless necessary, making it more precise. Thanks to the design of its hydraulic system, the type S also is quiet. It is capable of consistent heating and pressures, and rapid heating and cooling.
