ASC 500/ASC 700 Available in two sizes, Coperion's new conveyor has been designed to match the high throughputs of its large strand pelletizers, the SP 500 HD and the SP 700 HD, which use the SK92 die head. The 500mm ASC 500 (shown above) is able to move about 3.9 tons an hour and the 700mm ACS 700 can handle about 5.5 tons an hour.
What's new? The system, which was released in October.
Benefits Flexibility. With its modular design and adjustable cooling lengths, the conveyor can be adapted to meet processing plants' particular needs. It features spray bars for water cooling and stations that use powerful streams of air to blow water off strands; components of both features can be adjusted for optimal performance.
