KDvision-Lab Developed by Kdesign GmbH, Königswinter, Germany, for laboratory testing, this profile sensor creates readouts tracking blown film application performance. With the profile control device's three modes, it can continuously measure a preselected length of film; create an overall profile by continuously measuring single samples, such as multi-cut films; and take freeform measurements. The device comes with all necessary components, including a touch-screen interface, so that it can be used immediately. Features include a mechanical sensor and a capacitive, noncontact sensor for all nonconducting plastics. In the United States, the device is available through TSM.

What's new? The device, which was shown for the first time at Plast 2015 in Milan.

Benefits Easy access to both absolute and continuous measurements, thanks to the device's two-sensor design. Users have access to practical data, presented and stored in a way that is simple to understand.
