The unit, which is made by Ceramicx Ltd., Ballydehob, Ireland, measures 29 inches by 15 inches by 25 inches and has a heater housing that can accommodate short-wave, long-wave and medium-wave infrared heating elements. It features a quick-change design, so that users can easily swap out one element with another. A controller allows users to set a number of parameters, including energy consumption and heating time, and record histories of past tests.
