Loss-in-weight dosing system This new continuous dosing system for film extrusion from Moretto SpA, Massanzago, Italy, automatically adapts to production requirements. For use with extruders with throughputs of 265-3,300 pounds per hour, the system feeds resin, additives and colorants in the right proportions into the extrusion process. It also continuously monitors the extruder's production rate and adjusts actual production to meet the set point.
