HiQ MediaLog anniversary series Released in honor of the 25th anniversary of Herrmann Ultrasonics, the company's updated line of welders is available in 20 kilohertz (kHz), 30 kHz and 35 kHz frequencies. Like other HiQ MediaLog welders, the anniversary series welder relies on a patented pneumatic HMC drive concept, which combines the benefits of pneumatics and the dynamics of an electrical drive, to perform with maximum repeatability and precision. It is designed to handle clean-room applications. The company would not release pricing, but said a special anniversary discount is available.
What's new? A new look and updated design, featuring a new sound insulation concept, the patented Ultrasafe sound enclosure. A two-panel glass safety door has also been added.
Benefits The welder's new UltraSafe feature provides users with a high degree of safety and ergonomics. In addition, the SoftTouch mode protects the sensitive joining area of the plastic parts to be welded during contact of the sonotrode.
