Model 83-76 Elmendorf tear tester Testing Machines' automated tear tester is used to determine the force required to continue tearing an initial cut in plastic film and other sheet materials. The latest model features storage and editing of up to 200 readings, easily interchangeable pendulums, automatic pendulum calibration, multiple data export options and an optional printer for reports. The tester can be used to calculate the force for multiple plies and conforms to relevant ISO, ASTM and other industry standards.
