Mocon's oxygen sensor relies on an optical sensor to give off light according to the amount of oxygen it encounters in a package's headspace.

OpTech-02 Model P Mocon's oxygen sensor relies on an optical sensor to give off light according to the amount of oxygen it encounters in a package's headspace. Its advanced design makes it especially appropriate for small or flexible packages, such as pill blister packs and bags of chips.

What's new? The patent-pending pressure needle, designed to allow the oxygen sensor to automatically account for pressure changes caused when it's inserted into the headspace of packages.

Benefits Sensor design that allows the Model P to take readings without influencing oxygen levels within packages. Because packages' seals are not altered when the needle is inserted and removed, the same packages can be tested repeatedly, allowing operators to study the long-term quality of their seals.
