Sensor adaptable to array of industries
LA-21-A Series The LVDTs (linear variable differential transformers), which have been designed for use in many applications, provide position feedback for machinery. Offering robust design, with full ranges from 3 inches to 15 inches, the motion sensors are supplied in a 0.805-inch-diameter, zinc-plated steel housing with 4-inch stripped-and-tinned axial leads. Each unit's core is enclosed in a 0.375-inch-diameter extension rod from which it cannot break loose and has a 5/16-24 UNF or M8 X 1.25 male thread for easy attachment. Units are environmentally sealed to IP68, an international standard that testifies that they can withstand dust and water submersion.
What's new? Standardized design. For the first time, Alliance Sensors Group is offering a non-custom sensing unit that's appropriate across an array of industries, including for injection molding.
Benefits More economical pricing. Because the LA-21-A Series' design hasn't been targeted for any one industry or customer, Alliance can sell it more cheaply than its other sensors.
