Water bath/vacuum strand dryer Reduction Engineering Scheer's newest equipment for strand pelletizing is an all-in-one water bath and vacuum strand dryer. It takes advantage of the features of the company's JV Air Knife Series of vacuum strand dryers, which have been designed to operate at less than 85 decibels around the clock.
What's new? Combination water bath-dryer design. The unit features a vacuum strip that can be placed along the entire length of the bath to draw water off the strands. The dryer is designed to hold the water, unlike pressure-type units, which blow the water off the strands.
