Filling system This variable container filling system from National Bulk Equipment can fill drums, cartons, totes, gaylords, bulk bags and other bulk containers from a single station while providing densification and weighing. A completely integrated weigh system, it has NTEP certification from the National Conference on Weights and Measures. The menu-driven controller meters material feed rates based on container type, material type, densification cycles and finished package weight. The system can weigh containers with capacities of 250 pounds to 4,000 pounds.
What's new? The incorporation of two densifying methods. In multiple-container mode, the system uses an automated, vibratory densifier pad to individually densify each drum on a pallet. In single-container mode, the system uses a deck-only vibratory densifier, which isolates the vibration force to the deck of the system rather than vibrating the entire base.
Benefits Increased safety and accuracy. The system eliminates the problem of drums bouncing out of the unit and the need for workers to reach into equipment during densification to stabilize drums.
