Airforce Technology pulverizer:  This size-reduction innovation now is patented. The system only uses air to cool discs and material in the mill. The Airforce mill produces 60 percent more material than comparable water-cooled pulverizing systems with the same size motor. Users can achieve production rates of up to 4,000 pounds per hour.

AIRFORCE TECHNOLOGY PULVERIZER  This size-reduction innovation now is patented. The system only uses air to cool discs and material in the mill. The Airforce mill produces 60 percent more material than comparable water-cooled pulverizing systems with the same size motor. Users can achieve production rates of up to 4,000 pounds per hour.

WHAT'S NEW?  Air drawn into the mill housing cools the mill and the material as it is being pulverized, eliminating the need for infrastructure for water cooling, including chillers, water towers, pipes and pumps.

BENEFITS  Increased production rates, minimized energy usage and the ability to pulverize an expanded range of materials. Optimized power consumption means almost 40 percent less energy consumed per pound of finished material. No materials buildup minimizes meltdowns, resulting in better overall product quality. Also, the system can operate at much higher temperatures.
