Ci VISION MOSAIC 360Ëš SYSTEM This system from Mettler Toledo's Product Inspection Division focuses on label quality on round, un-oriented products. It is able to inspect up to 1,000 parts per minute.
WHAT'S NEW? Six cameras are used to inspect labels on round containers, such as bottles, jars, cans and tubes. It includes applications that verify printed codes, such as date/lot/product codes, barcodes and 2-D matrix codes. Mosaic uses a touch screen interface that runs CI-Vision's CIVCore software. It also has multi-level user controls and anti-circumvention technology to ensure security.
BENEFITS The system adapts very quickly to various product positions and packaging materials, producing fewer false rejects. With six cameras, there is a reduction in distortion and delivery of optimum images. Mosaic eliminates line reconfiguration because it installs over existing conveyor lines.
