Ettlinger unveils compact melt filter for film, sheet extrusion

ECO MELT FILTRATION  This compact melt filter from Ettlinger is specially developed for film and sheet applications, and processing other semi-finished products.

WHAT'S NEW?  ECO removes cross-linked and high-molecular material fractions contained in the melt, along with gels of partial impurities, and is rated for a maximum contaminant level of 1.5 percent by weight. ECO 200 handles throughputs up to 1,000 kilograms per hour, and ECO 250 handles a maximum of 2,500 kilograms per hour.

BENEFITS  The unit filters PET, nylon and other easy flowing materials in addition to polyolefin melts. Removed particles are continuously fed to an innovative servo-driven discharge shaft.
