RE Scheer designs compact pulverizer for rotomolding

Jan. 26, 2015

RE Series Pulverizer Reduction Engineering Scheer built this newly designed series of pulverizers on a single platform. Released

at Rotoplas 2014, the RE 500, RE 1000, RE 1500 cover

maximum outputs ranging from 500 to 1,500 pounds per hour; the RE Pass, with an output of 4,000 pounds per hour, is a specialty pulverizer designed for uses not requiring tight particle distribution specifications.

What's New? A compact, mobile design requires less space. The series includes a Siemens control with touch screen and available option for PLC tracking and Internet access; an adjustable air flow management system; and a new orbital CB classification system featuring a round stainless steel classifier with no back wire that is fully accessible from the floor. A new head design on the mill and drive system eliminates cross currents and a lower profile shaft helps boost motor torque.

Benefits Increased mill cooling and capability. Classifier clean down is 35 percent faster. Air flow management, combined with RE Scheer's disposable disk system, ups efficiency and cuts production costs.
