X220 bimetallic metal inlay This high-hardness, iron-chromium alloy from Nordson Xaloy Inc. is used to line the inner wall of a barrel for general-purpose extrusion and injection molding applications.
What's new? Higher chromium content and greater hardness, giving it greater resistance to corrosion and abrasion. Chromium content is double that of Xaloy's X200 inlay and higher than the standard alloy in Europe.
