Tony Radoszewski, president and CEO of the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS), issued a call for a “serious, bipartisan policy discussion about real sustainable solutions” in the Washington Examiner on Monday.

Admitting that the country has a problem with plastic waste, Radoszewski said a “privately funded, industry-led extended producer responsibility plan is a pragmatic solution” and offered a three-part plan for creating a federal recycling infrastructure.
