Globeius system tracks vehicle operators
Key-card access system Globeius’ electronic system replaces physical keys for operation of PLC-controlled manufacturing-plant vehicles, such as forklifts, cranes and scissor lifts. Up to 100 individually assigned credentials create a digital record of who has operated the vehicle. It is available as an option on new vehicles or can be retrofitted.
What’s new? The key-card access system.
Benefits Greater visibility into material-handling activity, and stronger traceability and accountability programs for manufacturers of items such as medical devices. Also, it eliminates pitfalls of physical keys, which can be lost, shared or used by unauthorized drivers, making it difficult for plant managers to know exactly who operated a vehicle and when.
