Flexicon bag dumping system contains dust
TFC25-028 MBDS This Flexicon system for transferring material manually dumped from handheld sacks includes a glove box, bag compactor and flexible screw conveyor to move material into elevated process equipment or storage vessels. Operators use the built-in rubber gloves to retrieve bags through a hinged door and place them on a grate for opening and emptying. A stainless-steel screw conveyor with a specialized geometry effectively handles both free- and non-free-flowing bulk materials without causing blend separation. The dust collector maintains negative pressure within the enclosure and a dual-cartridge filtration system captures dust. The high-capacity cylinder on the bag compactor can compress up to 80 bags into a removable bin. The system has locking wheel casters to ensure stability while in operation and easy moving for storage or cleaning.
What’s new? The bag dumping station.
Benefits Dust-free transfer of materials, avoiding contamination of the plant environment or direct contact with operators’ skin.
