Top 7000 Pro Elmet’s highest-performing liquid-silicone-rubber (LSR) dosing system processes from containers with capacities of around 5 gallons or around 55 gallons.
What’s new? The Top 7000 Cast, introduced in February at MD&M West in Anaheim, Calif. Based on the Top 7000 Pro, it’s for casting, coating and manual molding applications. Applications could include the manufacture of insulators and cable joints for high- and medium-voltage applications, as well as other electronic technology components; manual molding with and without dispensing guns; medical products, such as manifolds, LSR prosthetic liners and medical cushions; and cable coatings. The system can work with or without a dispensing gun.
Benefits Precision, stability, ease of use and continuous, stable volume flow. The self-learning control system can handle even materials with significant viscosity differences, and it adapts quickly to changing processes and small batches. Also, drum changes are fully automatic.
