April 15, 2026

GN³ Piovan UnaDyn’s new three-stage temperature progression and air-management drying technology for PET and recycled PET (rPET) delivers gentle, effective heat to the pellet core. It has a modular design, allowing it to be integrated into existing production lines on either mezzanines or as part of processing bays. Its advanced PLC control architecture ensures compatibility with auxiliary equipment.

What's new? The drying technology, announced in the fall. In the U.S., UnaDyn (Universal Dynamics) is a subsidiary of Piovan SpA, Maria di Sala, Italy.

Benefits Fast, efficient drying, and the ability to optimize PET and rPET processing operations, even when dealing with high-moisture materials and in humid climates. According to Piovan, the GN³ can complete drying cycles in just 5 hours and ensure resin changeovers within 2.5 hours, compared with conventional procedures that take 8 hours.
