HandyScan Black Elite This lightweight hand-held 3D scanner delivers up to 1.3 million measurements per second with 22 blue laser lines plus an additional deep-hole line. It offers 0.025mm accuracy and 0.1mm resolution within a working distance of 7.9 to 17.7 inches. Dynamic referencing maintains consistent precision even when both the scanner and object move during measurement. Features include smart resolution, automatic shutter adjustment and optimized laser-line alignment for measuring complex, high-contrast surfaces. Artificial intelligence (AI)-driven target detection, real-time feedback and live mesh visualization streamline data acquisition, while advanced mesh enhancement algorithms refine scan results automatically. The scanner is compatible with Faro’s CAM2 and other major metrology software.
