Benefits Flexibility. Each Optiv M CMM can be configured in one of Hexagon’s pre-configured Enhanced Productivity Series (EPS) packages. Geared to makers of highly complex parts, the Multi-Purpose package uses optical and tactile sensors to complete all needed 3-D part measurement steps in one cycle; the Throughput package enables batch measurement of mass-market items via high-speed scanning and workflow automation capabilities; the Precision package uses high-precision dual-camera optics and monitors environmental conditions that could affect measurements; and the Shop-Floor package is for manufacturers looking for real-time measurements near their production line, with a protective machine enclosure and pneumatic vibration isolation. Manufacturers can easily expand these capabilities with field-installable upgrade kits.
