Dual-arm control This device from Denso Robotics can operate two four-axis SCARA robot arms from a single control unit. It is compatible with Denso HSR-series or HS-A1-series robots. The dual-arm configuration with cooperative-control assembly functionality is especially well-suited for assembly operations or when automation is needed in a cramped space.
What’s new? The dual-arm configuration. The two arms can perform different tasks simultaneously or work together to pick up heavy or long parts.
Benefits The ability to handle complex tasks requiring two robot arms that have quick acceleration, continuous high-speed functionality and precision stopping; cost savings; and efficiency. The HSR arms have a reach of 17.7 inches to 25.6 inches and maximum payload of 17.6 pounds. The compact HS-AI model has a reach of 13.7 inches to 21.6 inches and payload of 11 pounds.
