Sonderhoff DM 80 Static Mix Designed especially for applications in the aerospace parts manufacturing industry, this new Henkel mixing and dosing machine can be used for mixing and dispensing high-density, viscous composite materials or fillers, such as Loctite 2K epoxy systems, for bonding plastic aircraft components. To save space in production, all components of the DM 80 Static Mix are housed on a mobile chassis.
What’s new? The model, exhibited for the first time at the Paris Air Show in June.
Benefits The ability to better automate steps that have previously been carried out manually. Aircraft manufacturers, in particular, must mix and dose materials precisely to ensure their products meet all safety-relevant requirements — the DM 80 Static Mix helps convert some of this hands-on work to semi-automatic and fully automatic processes. Additionally, with the DM 80 Static Mix, manufacturers can reduce material consumption, shorten production times and increase the quality, consistency and reliability of mixing and dosing.
