Icam-B Kistler’s multi-channel, high-bandwidth, universal charge amplifiers are ideal for use with piezoelectric sensors, which manufacturers employ to ensure the quality of end parts, reduce downtimes, boost efficiency, and support process optimization and data-driven decision making. They offer a unique combination of analog and digital signal processing, and have a wide and adjustable measuring range for condition and machine monitoring. Versions are available with one to four input channels. They feature six analog outputs, and each input channel can be flexibly routed to any of these outputs.
What’s new? The new Icam-B (or 5073B), an all-purpose industrial charge amplifier featuring a wide measuring range, a web-based user interface, comprehensive signal conditioning and Industrial Internet of Things-readiness. The new device includes two virtual channels for real-time calculations of different input signals.
Benefits Improved power management, an extended measuring range and improved usability and connectivity. The Ethernet interface enables remote access, remote configuration and monitoring, firmware updates, integration with control systems and data streaming. It is appropriate for configuration, commissioning direct display of measurement values and visualization of the live signal versus time. Overall, the charge amplifiers, which have a robust metal housing, can help prevent unexpected breakdowns, reduce downtime and extend machinery life.
