Liad SpectroMetric 6 Ampacet’s closed-loop automated system combines advanced artificial intelligence-powered in-line color measurement technology with color correction software to determine the appropriate pigments required to correct color inline and automatically meter pigments in real time. It weighs each pigment individually while metering the mixture directly into the extruder with the base colorant and PCR resin blend.
What’s new? More precise and more economical color correction. The upgraded SpectroMetric 6 system incorporates one base masterbatch and five mono pigments instead of just adjusting the one masterbatch. The SpectroMetric 6 incorporates a ColorSave 1000 gravimetric feeder for the base masterbatch color and five ColorSave-Micro gravimetric feeders to meter FluxQF mono pigments and correct color inline.
Benefits Color consistency. This new system could especially appeal to companies using post-consumer recycled (PCR) content, which can vary in color. The SpectroMetric 6 system allows for the introduction of specific colors, thus reducing costs and the amount of color required.
