Microgel RSY Syncro Frigel has updated its machine-side temperature control lineup with the introduction of the Microgel Syncro, which is available in more than 10 models. It offers cooling capacities ranging from 4.5 to 16 tons and heating capacities from 12 kilowatts (kW) to 24 kW.
What’s new? A shorter cooling phase. The RSY Syncro is digitally synchronized with the molding process, and only supplies cold water to the mold during the cooling phase. The system requires no modifications to the mold design or molding parameters.
Benefits Reduced cycle times. The Microgel Syncro technology cuts cycle times by up to 40 percent while maintaining the surface quality, dimensional characteristics and mechanical performance of finished parts. The system communicates with the press, but is autonomous and easy for operators to implement. With a dedicated production cell, it offers improved productivity and increased profitability, and Frigel said it has an average payback time of less than six months.
