WeighPack systems handle bulk-bagging tasks

June 8, 2023
The systems eliminate the need for manually inserting bags into cases or uncuffing and sealing bags prior to closing cases.

Bag inserter and uncuffer for bulk-bagging systems WeighPack Systems provides technologies for automating the packaging process of bulk products.

What’s new? Two systems — the BI 600 automatic bag inserter and BU 600 automatic bag uncuffer. The BI 600 bag inserter dispenses film on a roll, cuts, seals and then inserts the bag into an erected case. The BU 600 then uncuffs the bag from the case and folds it over the product. The BI 600 accepts 1-to-4-mil film in roll widths of up to 2.1 feet and provides impulse sealing for leak-proof PE or laminated bags. The BU 600 also accepts 1-to-4-mil film with a bag fold over of up to about 2 feet. Both units come with 18-inch industrial PC panels.

Benefits Ability to eliminate the need for manually inserting bags into cases or uncuffing and sealing bags prior to closing cases. The WeighPack systems are designed to fit seamlessly into a bulk-bag-filling line with a case erector, bulk weigh filler and case sealer, completing a fully automated system that forms, fills and seals cases, trays and bins and the bulk-sized bags within them.
