Good morning! A Wittmann demonstration cell at Fakuma 2026 will be taking circularity seriously. Not only will it recycle all its own scrap within the cell, it will produce clamps that replace single-use cable ties on corrugated hoses.
North American shipments of plastics machinery dropped again in the second quarter of 2026, according to the PLASTICS Committee on Equipment Statistics. But the tide may be turning, as orders increased in Q2 and processors are showing some optimism.
