The G25 can control up to 192 zones and measures temperature 20 times per second.

G25 Designed for demanding applications, this hot-runner controller from Gammaflux, part of the Barnes Molding Solution Group, is optimized for high-cavity molds, low shot weights and tight temperature controls. It can control up to 192 zones in two-zone steps.

What’s new? The controller. First presented at Fakuma 2024, it has been available for delivery since mid-June. It features the Linux operating system, which Gammaflux says is easier to use than Windows. The controller’s Mold Wizards program supports all functions, such as setup, step by step, and the device’s integrated material database allows direct transfer of setpoints. The controller measures temperature 20 times per second. Data from the system can be integrated into users’ manufacturing execution and central systems.

Benefits Ease of use, high precision and full traceability, important for molders in the medical and automotive sectors. According to Gammaflux, users can access 80 percent of daily operations through only one page of the controller’s display, and the controller works much like a smartphone.
