New line of cutters and inserts offers versatility and value

SSN11 and SNGX11 Dormer Pramet’s SSN11 cutters and SNGX11 inserts join the company’s lineup of products for die and mold milling. The two products were designed to be used together, although the SSN11 cutters can use other inserts. The inserts come in two versions. The M geometry version is for machining steel, hardened steel and cast iron. The MM geometry is designed to provide a smoother cut and is best suited for stainless steel, soft steel and super alloys. The combination offer a depth of cut of up to 0.07 inch.
