Oi-f Plus Based on the existing Oi-f series, Fanuc’s newest series of controllers for computer numerical control (CNC) machines is compatible with milling and turning machines from a variety of manufacturers. Designed especially for use by mold makers, the controllers can be factory-installed by OEMs or retrofitted to existing CNC machines.

What’s new? The series of controllers. Available first in Japan, it hit the U.S. market this summer. It represents the first major upgrade of the Oi-f series since it came out about five years ago. The Oi-f series also has new user-interface screens with navigation that is comparable to that of smartphones and PCs.

Benefits Improved performance and user-friendliness, and a doubling of data capacity. With the controllers, users can upgrade their existing CNC machines to compete favorably with newer machines.
