Mazak machining center gains user-friendly controller

VTC-200C Mazak’s vertical machining center is particularly useful for machining large injection molds. It has a 40-taper spindle, pivoting CNC panel and intuitive 19-inch touch screen. A 24-tool tool changer is standard; as an option, a 48-tool magazine also is available.

What’s new? The incorporation of a new controller, called the Mazatrol SmoothG, and software.
