Markforged launches AI-powered software

What’s new? The software, which will hit the market in the fourth quarter.

Benefits Improved part quality and reduced waste. The company says its AI-powered software enables “adaptive manufacturing,” using the scans of completed parts in a feedback loop that allows the printer to automatically adjust the process to ensure it is producing on-spec parts. The software learns more about the process with each part it produces, improving its ability to adapt to the variability in the laser sintering process.
